NFL Week 2 Public Betting Splits | News Article by Bettingoddsforfree.com

Week 2 of the NFL season is upon us and it’s time to take a look into some of the matchups that are seeing the most action from the public.

Starting with the AFC South divisional matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans where the Texans are surprisingly a 1-point favorite. Despite being the favorites and at home, the public is all over the Colts odds across the odds board. On the spread, Indy is seeing 62% of bets placed and 69% of the money being bet. Their moneyline odds are coming in at 76% of bets laid and 68% of the handle.

Since 2017, the Colts have dominated the series regardless of where it’s being played having won 9 of 12 games with one tie.

Moving on to a battle in the AFC North between the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens are in a similar situation where not only are they an underdog on the road but are taking in the most action as well.

The public is laying 68% of betting slips and 61% of the money bet on their odds to cover a 3.5 point spread. On the moneyline though, the public is split with the Ravens seeing a massive 74% of the money while the Bengals are looking at 60% of bets.

It has been all Bengals recently as they’ve won each of their last three home games in the series and have also won four of their last six meeting with Baltimore overall.

Their moneyline odds are seeing even more action at 81% of bets and 85% of the money.

Miami shouldn’t have any issues in this one as they’ve won four of the last five meetings with New England and have covered the spread in three of four of those wins.
