NBA Conference Championship
The Eastern and Western Conference championship series have been set, and they are the same series that occurred during the NBA bubble.
The Boston Celtics will face the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Denver Nuggets face the seventh-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.

Starting in the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets are favored to win the series at -160 odds while the Lakers opened with 135 odds.
Looking at the regular season series between the two, each team was able to walk away with a 2-2 record against one another, and all four games were also decided by 10 points.
Despite being the favorite to win the series, the public has been all over the Lakers gameline odds with 86% of bets and 83% of the betting handle on their 6.5-point spread.
The Lakers moneyline odds are also seeing action with just 37% of total bets, but 62% of the money being bet on their 205 odds.
The main thing to take away from this series is that both the Lakers and Nuggets have met a total of seven playoff series with the Lakers going 7-0 against them.
Moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals, one of the most storied rivalries in recent NBA history gets renewed between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
With where the series price odds opened, things aren’t looking good for Miami. In 22 conference finals series where the favorite was priced at -350 or higher, the favorite has gone 21-1 with the only upset coming in 2009. In the last six playoff series that the two have met since 2010, the Heat have gone 4-1 against them.

Looking at this year’s regular season series, both teams were able to win two games with three of the four games being decided by less than 10 points.
Similar to the Western Conference Finals, the underdog Miami Heat are taking in most of the action on the spread with 63% of all the bets being placed and 75% of the betting handle.
The Heat are seeing just 13% of bets being placed on the moneyline, however, 59% of the money is coming on their 300 odds.
If both the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat were to reach the NBA Finals, it would mark the first time a 7 seeded team makes the finals, and the second time an 8 seed would make it.
